This short video demonstration introduces the MultiCam by PhotoRobot, a multi-camera rig for automated 3D photography. The design of the system enables the simultaneous capture of multiple product photos by multiple cameras. It synchronizes turntable rotation with the capture of each mounted camera to photograph multiple elevations at once. There are 13 positions with a spacing of 7.5 degrees each for mounting cameras. Every additional camera then exponentially reduces the production time of 3D spins and 3D models. That is in tandem with still product photos, with often 1 minute total production time for 2D + 360 + 3D assets. 00:05 Hello, and welcome to PhotoRobot. The MultiCam has been developed for the effective multiple photo capturing of large volumes of products. All cameras take a photo at the same moment. So if you have four cameras, like we have here, you will take four photos at one stop. Therefore, the session will be four times faster.
00:31 There are 13 positions on the MultiCam bow at 7.5° increments where the cameras can be randomly placed.
00:41 The elevation is automated, controlled from the Controls software. So you can adjust the position according to the size of the object.
