Summary
Watch a demonstration of the design features & dynamics of PhotoRobot’s Centerless Table for automated 2D + 360 + 3D product photography. This short video demo showcases the power of PhotoRobot Controls software with the unique lighting system of the Centerless Table. Find out about integration of the studio lights, and the built-in diffusion background for perfectly lighting objects. We share information on the 1300 mm glass plate of the Centerless Table, and the motors for maximum movement dynamics. This includes automated calibration and the immediate independent reading of positional data to ensure high accuracy in robotic photography sequences. At the end, the demo covers other convenient features of the Centerless Table, like its hedgehog holders for workspace safety. These enable greater freedom of movement around the studio, with no tripods or cables to stumble over. Meanwhile, software control & automation enables manual or automatic adjustment of lights, camera, and post-processing settings. Judge the Centerless Table for yourself: from its design for small to medium size objects, to its levels of productivity.

00:23 Hello, and welcome to PhotoRobot. The Centerless_Table represents the highest level in the evolution of automated product photography, mainly because of the control software and the unique lighting system.
00:36 The photographed object is lit up from the back and the bottom, thanks to two important features: the glass plate and the diffusion background.
00:45 For maximum precision of movement, the glass plate, which is 1300 mm wide and carries up to 40 kg is made with tempered, highly transparent optical glass and is fit within the wheel system.
00:59 The two electric motors give it maximum precision and movement dynamics. With this sensor, the calibration is automated, and thanks to the immediate independent reading of the absolute position, a correction is made at each stop.
01:13 The diffusion background with the bottom reflective section is integrated for optimal translucence. Even at the top view camera positions.
01:22 The shading panels at the sides and bottom of the construction prevent any reflections on the object.
01:29 Furthermore, we use these hedgehog holders to save space and make the studio a safe and comfortable workplace. No more tripods to stumble over.
01:40 Finally, the lights, along with the lasers, camera and plate movement are software controlled. Adjust the intensity and take a test photo. Check and adjust that again, all from the comfort of your computer.
01:54 The construction as a whole is made for industrial use. The unique lighting system and many details such as these mounting spots for additional accessories, make working with the Centerless_Table highly productive. The Centerless_Table is made to automatically produce a perfect picture.
